The Ally Remembered Foundation is a non-profit organization and 501c3 charity dedicated to Domestic Violence Awareness, Prevention and Survivor Support. Founded to honor our daughter Ally, tragically lost to a domestic violence related murder, we are driving for change. Through various programs, workshops and a worldwide audience within the sport paintball, our mission is to empower lifestyles free of violence and towards sustainable and healthy futures with a focus on youth and teens.

We vowed to carry on her spirit and continue her journey via the Ally Remembered Foundation. Finding a way to honor her and raise awareness over the affects of domestic violence so that others will be empowered to live domestic violence free lives has become our priority. Ally’s stepfather Andy Starrett has championed this mission. Utilizing his desire for sharing Ally’s story so it might benefit others and his passion for the sport of paintball, the foundation was born. The ARF’s primary goals are to reach affected youth and, using the sport as a catalyst, offer unique support programs that encompass keeping survivors focused on a positive future.

Mission:
The Ally Remembered mission is straight forward and simple. Empowering Lifestyles Free From Domestic Violence. With an emphasis on issues caused by unhealthy relationships, we are driving awareness in our community and worldwide to honor and celebrate Ally and her dreams of being in a support role to others.

Statics show that close to 40% of kids living in abusive homes become offenders themselves when older. Our paintball initiative working locally and with chapters aims to reduce that statistic. It's not directed at just youth survivors, our mission in paintball is to provide all youth access to proper safety, training, health and citizenship skills often forgot about in sports. All with a vision that keeping youth involved in the sport within a group of like-minded peers and mentors can have positive affects.

With February being Teen Dating Awareness month, how much do you really know about your kids own relationship's?
Supporting the development of healthy, respectful, and nonviolent relationships has the potential to reduce the occurrence of TDV and prevent its harmful and long-lasting effects on individuals, their families, and the communities where they live. During the pre-teen and teen years, it is critical for youth to begin learning the skills
needed to create and maintain healthy relationships. These skills include things like how to manage feelings and how to communicate in a healthy way.
CDC developed Dating Matters®: Strategies to Promote Healthy Teen Relationships to stop teen dating violence before it starts. It focuses on 11-14 year olds and includes multiple prevention components for individuals, peers, families, schools, and neighborhoods. All of the components work together to reinforce healthy relationship messages and reduce behaviors that increase the risk of dating violence.
